Hi,
This job entails rebuilding a flash, e-commerce site that I currently have that’s called “Ape2Android.”
You can check it out at Ape2Android.com.
I would like this site to be rebuilt because the original flash/3-D/ Web developer vendor that I hired did not do it to my specifications. The current site is cumbersome, loads way too slowly, and the most essential part of the site –– the shopping cart (which is represented by the flash grid) –– does not function properly.
The good thing is that in its current state, the site is about 85% of the way that I want it to look aesthetically. So, in essence, you have a good template to guide you in the design process –– in other words, you know what the end-game looks like, and so it’s not as daunting as starting with a blank page, where you must develop the concept from scratch. Please note: this job is a complete rebuild. (I don't have any source files, so you would need to recreate what you see –– and then some.)
I need a vendor that is skilled in client management and who can take my feedback and actually listen and respond in a way that meets my needs. I've discovered on Elance that many vendors will say anything to get a job, but then seem to drop the ball when it comes to listening to the client and delivering what was agreed upon.
One huge component of this job is the shopping cart: Right now all I really have (if you’ll take a look) is a dynamic flash grid. I like that grid a lot, but it is not a shopping cart. So, what I would need on your end is for you to recreate that Flash grid and integrate it with a 3rd-party shopping cart system. I’m thinking “[login to view URL]” or some similar vendor whose system is turnkey. I just don’t like the way most carts look –– flat, boring, ugly. So, visually, I want it to match the rest of the site but have the functionality of their e-com technology.
We can get more into the details of the exact changes and updates later. But, essentially, I want to add a couple more animated assets in addition to what you'll see; sound effects; better animation; a turnkey e-com system; some visual tweaks; and what I'm calling a "robot vocalizer," which is like the vision-impaired software: (I want a user to be able to type in copy and have 1 of 4 different robot voices read it back; I just think robot voices are funny!)
OK, that's a broad-stroke sketch of what this new project would entail.
You must sound very experienced and should give us some suggestions/options and should addressing the project requirements!!!!! very important!!!!!!
Thank you!
