Hi, I have a 0.68 caliber (17.2mm) spherical object, weighing 8grams that i am firing vertically from a pneumatic cylinder (CO2) into soil. I need to create an excel spreadsheet that will calculate the firing pressure (in PSI), initial velocity of the object (in m/s) to achieve an embedment of 5mm below the top surface of the soil. The spreadsheet need will need to calculate the above for varying heights above the ground.
