Connecting a Meganto and an Opencart shop for exchanging stock data - Please read the description carefully!

System Landscape: We are running 2 webshops, one is on Magento the other on a rented Opencart system. We have full access to the Magento shop and we have APIs for the Opencart one. Requirement: We would like to upload the products from one system to the other (and have the same products in both webshops with shared stocks), but would need a development which automatically deducts the stock in the other system if there has been an order in one of the shops. Example: order for necklace is logged in Magento, the stock for that necklace is deducted in the Opencart shop as well. We thought about 2 solutions: 1, Both systems communicate real time - if an order is made in one of the systems, it is automatically updated in the other 2, The systems communicate once a day, updating the stock changes in the other systems.
