We're looking for more kick-ass developers for the Mailbird family! You will work closely with our CTO and other senior developers as we transition from Windows to a cross-platform framework, using .NET 5, Avalonia UI, Entity Framework Core, SQLite and CEF, bringing Mailbird to the Mac and beyond. You will also help develop the core platform, implementing more advanced and innovative features for all our customers. We are a remote native company, with an amazing international team. Job requirements Have impeccable attention to detail, whether it be UX, UI, or code. Are experienced with C# application programming. Have experience with WPF (or other XAML based framework) and MVVM. Experience with Mac or mobile development is a big plus. Experience using EF Code First, CQRS, DI and IOC another big plus. Experience with unit testing (NUnit and Moq) is the icing on the cake. KISS and SOLID principles are your bread and butter. Pragmatism over pure theory is more than welcome. Can take initiative and feel comfortable both working alone and part of a team. Have excellent communication skills in English. Hi, I assume you are probably looking for a full time candidate but I would love to be part of your team. I am a professional C# developer with 14 years experience. I worked on several projects using WPF and MVVM, EF core (code first), Dependency Injection/Inversion of Control as well as NUnit, xUnit and Moq. I regularly follow both SOLID and KISS principles and love to refactor code and suggest improvements in readability, performance and design. As I am new to Avalonia UI I took a quick look and was positively surprised to find a WPF-like framework which is cross-platform. I'd love to get my hands dirty with this. Must be really exciting seeing a WPF like experience on Mac. I did a small app for Mac a few years back but that was objective-C and some native WinForms-like UI (don't remember the name), not a very good experience.
