We are a software company operating on the French and European e-commerce markets. Our partners are online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Cdiscount, Fnac, Darty and many others.
We operate under Persona MySQL 5.7, with several hundreds GB in production, Master/Slave and about 2000 simultaneous connexions with 50kps.
We are looking for an experienced DBA to audit and improve our MySQL database performance.
The ideal candidate should have
- 10+ years experience as a DBA in MySQL in production environment
- deep knowlege of diagnostics and analyzing DB under InnoDB, MyISAM
- great knowledge of MySQL best practices
- knowledge on tuning, designing tables, improving performance and indexing.
You will be interacting with the developers and system administrator and making a recommendation of areas of improvement.
The project can be in two phases : 1) diagnostics, and 2) implementation
