As the Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for:
Maintain and update employee payroll records
Process weekly payroll
Calculate and pay weekly payroll tax liabilities
Process and prepare weekly checks for garnishments
Prepare weekly payroll journal entries
Process employment verifications
Understand, interpret and communicate benefits coverage for all employees
Respond to unemployment and wage claims
Prepare annual W-2 statements
Requirements:
Work experience handling payroll with at least 2-5 years experience
Experience working with ADP or similar payroll accounting systems
