We are an American recruiting firm headquartered in San Francisco. We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded recruiters with solid experience in creating and driving recruiting strategies to identify candidates across various industries including Tech, Finance, Accounting and Engineering.
The ideal candidate is an intelligent and independent individual who would thrive in an environment where he/she is entrusted with the entire candidate search responsibility. You will be given job descriptions and then you will come up with everything from the job ad draft, identifying the ideal job boards and posting the ads on them, reviewing and pre-screening candidates all the way to submitting to your assigned Manager the top resumés for the positions. You will independently establish a system for keeping track of your candidates and keeping yourself organized. You will own and drive the entire recruiting process for each position you are given and will handle preparing the ideal candidate for client submission, scheduling phone interviews, etc. You will earn the opportunity for higher responsibilities and higher pay through the quality of your work and the level of professionalism you demonstrate.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience in recruiting/resumé search
Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice and other career sites/job boards
Experience with Google Docs (Spreadsheet and Word document) is required
Tact, composed and persuasive over the phone
Sales experience: able to sell the the candidates on the job within the job description
Responsibilities:
Identify top candidates for clients' open positions using a variety of sourcing strategies and tools
If initial performance is excellent, may be entrusted with the greater responsibility of working with the candidates directly
Report directly to the Account Manager
Oversee the scheduling and communication around interviews, offers and hiring
Other duties as required
The Candidate:
This position is ideal for candidates looking for a long term career in technical recruiting
Sharp, intelligent and versatile person able to learn quickly and deliver high quality result
Must reliably commit up to 7 hours/day 5 days a week between 10 am and 5 pm PST (United States Pacific Standard Time)
Will start at 4 hrs/day weekdays and increase to 7-8 hrs/day within 1-2 months, depending on performance
You are flexible with time commitment
You are looking for a long term career, not a one-time gig
You are professional and tact in written and spoken English: spellings, punctuations, grammar, etc
You are comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines and quotas
You are proactive in bringing impactful insights, ideas and methods to candidate search and operations in general. This is not a career where you are merely able to do what you are told; you must own the entire process.
You are able to maintain the confidentiality of candidate and company information
You are comfortable recruiting across various industries
Compensation:
Base + Bonus
You will start with around $5/hr and go up rapidly, depending on performance
Bonus for each candidate hired
Monthly evaluation for potential raise/bonus (1st year)
