We Are Looking For A Skilled & Experienced Programmer To Help Us With A Project To Repair An *.Exe Program Written In Python.
The Program Is Currently Experiencing Some Faults/Errors While Downloading/Scraping Data, And We Have Access To The Source Code.
The Exe. Program Scraps Data From A Single Website In Three (3) Currency Formats (USD, AUD, BTC).
Until Recently, The Program Worked Well With In All 3 Currency Options.
During An Operation, The Program Crashed Prior Completing Its Download Operation in Two (2) Of The Currencies “AUD” & "BTC".
As Such “AUD” & “BTC” Options Are Now Not Working Properly And Need Fixing/Reprograming.
They Do Not Download All Data. What Data It Does Download Is Incorrect.
Please See Attached Error Report & Example of Error Messages For More Information.
We Require Someone With Lots Of Experience To Look Over Coding and Fix The Fault And Program Coding Specifically For “AUD” And “BTC” Options.
As Well As Fix All & Any Other Issues That May Exist (Without Making Any Other Changes To The Program - Unless With Prior Approval From Us).
Potential Fixes May Include, Simply Replacing With A New API Inserted Or Something Else Such As Recoding The Errors To Ensure The Program Works.
Required Skills, Experience & Condition Of Service:
- Proficiency In Python Programming Language
- Experience In Creating And Fixing *.Exe Programs
- Experience In Debugging And Fixing Error Messages In Python Programs
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Great Attention To Detail
- 3 Months Free Support Must Be Provided After End Of Project To Fix Any Program Issues
