I've developed a game patcher.
It works well but I think it wastes too much network by copying all changed files.
I'd like to copy only changed bits of the files by using xDelta.
If you have experience, please bid.
I will make a program that uses xDelta/diff to obtain changed parts of the code and also the network protocol (layered upon tcp) to transfer the changes to the program from the server.
Relevant Skills and Experience
Networking/UNIX. I'll use vim commands to finally insert changed code to the program and delete the obsolete code.
Proposed Milestones
$25 USD - Extract the changes in the code. And get them ready for streaming to client program.
$5 USD - Transfer code to the destination.
$20 USD - Patch the code in the right places.

Hello.
I am c++ expert.
I read your proposal carefully.
I have a question
Does patcher download all changed files by any way?
Thank you
Stay tuned, I'm still working on this proposal.
