Solidworks 2018 configuration and performance improvement

I have a solidworks 2018 That is not working properly, is installed on a HP Zbook laptop with an intel core i7-8550U CPU @ 1.8GHz with 16GB RAM , intel (R) UHD graphic 620 and a dedicated Radeon Pro WX 3100 graphic card
Sometimes it has been working fine but now it’s gone extremely slow and it impossible to work with. Would like to find someone that is able to check if my laptop settings are off or if the solid works settings need to be adjusted
