Hello,
my name is Kenji and I work in Freelancer.com since 2013.
I have a +4 years experience in the Podcast field, as I work daily as Editor & Audio Engineer with many podcasters and web-radio hosts around the world.
Generally I :
- Download the raw files,
- Set up the session with my templates and start the listening-editing process (remove long pauses, errors, wrong parts, huum, ehh, aah, uuh and any kind of unwanted words / generally I also receive notes about particular parts that clients don't want at all / of course respecting right timings and keeping a natural "flow");
- Add any extra content required like Sound Fxs, Intro & Outro, additional Music, Backgrounds, etc.;
- Mix and improve the audio, completing with the mastering, to achieve a professional standard of quality and loudness.
- Proceed with the submission to the client or web publishing, after the milestone release.
I'm pretty fast so you would receive back your episode in few days.
- Format and features of the file to receive back (.wav or .mp3, 24 or 16 bit, 44.1 or 48 kHz)?
- Duration of the each episode? Generally my charge is $30 per hour of audio to edit. If 45 min, $25, if 1.15, $35, and so on (freelancer.com fees excluded). Web publishing: + $5 per episode
Generally I create a Dropbox shared folder with my clients so that the submissions can be fast and without problems.
Due a limit of words, I'd like/need to continue the discussion in chat.
Best regards,
Kenji
