Full-Time Professional Writer

THE ROLE The Writer will be responsible in creating resumes for applicants who are on a hunt for a job. They must be familiar with the recruitment process of a multi-national company, hence be able to prepare the applicant’s resume in such a way that it makes a lasting and positive impression on the employer in a short period of time. They understand the goal of ensuring that the resume contains the applicant’s qualifications, job experience and skills in a clear and attractive format. This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. This is a home-based opportunity and work schedule is between 9AM to 5PM. RESPONSIBILITIES - Craft quality resumes customized by industry, career level, years of experience, and tailored to specific roles - Showcase results and achievements from rich content gathered from participants - Create compelling summaries that engage hiring audience to read more - Identify keywords and phrasing strategies that push resumes to the top of the lists for hiring professionals and applicant screening systems - Meet strict deadlines/timelines without compromising quality, and producing within a 24-48 hour turnaround time QUALIFICATIONS - Fluency in written and spoken English - High-level business communication skills - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word - Keen eye for design - High capacity to understand job descriptions and applicant attributes - Typing accuracy and proofreading skills - Overall writing style flexibility - Experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or Resume Writing is highly preferred but not required
