Create Wordpress Theme from PreDesigned Template

I have a template in PSD format which I need to be professionally coded into a wordpress theme.
This theme must be fully compliant with latest versions of all browsers including IE.
I would like this template to be centred on page.
The template will consist of a menu bar, title area, page area, some static graphics, and a widget area. Please see attached image for more clarification.

I need to be able to change the text where it says 'Gallery'
