Using the Kendo treeview, develop the supporting code and sql server table(s) necessary to support the display, creation, update and deletion of nodes. The treeview must support up to 5 levels, along with the sql server table(s). Please use the 2014 version ([login to view URL]") version of Kendo. The data access must be accomplished via stored procedures. I am using SQL Server 2014, but I don't want to use the hierarchical datatype. The ui can be extremely basic (just show the kendo treeview if you want), and whatever is most expedient for the web service is ok by me.

Thanks for the interest, Mark! I definitely will have time for this over the next 4 days, hopefully ready by Monday. Just to repeat the requirement, you would like a small prototype, consisting of: => Sql table with a self-join (i.e. ParentId). 2014, no hierarchyid => All data access Via Procs (e.g. with recursive CTE to indicate depth). (Just to confirm, you don't want an ORM - It is also do self-referencing directly in Entity Framework?) => After each UI event, we'll initiate the relevant transaction (add, edit, delete) to interact with the Web Service to trigger the back end update (or do you require a "one big save transaction" after all interaction is complete?) => I'll use WebAPI for the REST services => I'll just use vanilla jQuery, Html5 and CSS with the Kendo TreeView (i.e. there is no requirement for Angular or Knockout) => The initial page state will be rendered ASP.Net MVC Is a quote of $100 acceptable? Thanks and Regards, Stuart To follow up, I would prefer at this point to either utilize vanilla [login to view URL], or something like Dapper, as for this piece of code I will not have the luxury of any orm. Thanks Mark - Ado is fine.
