We need a seamless hardware/software solution for tracking and communicating remotely with cars. Our customers will be able to: 1) Log into our website 2) Locate a vehicle in real-time on map on smartphone (iOS and Android) 3) Book the vehicle 4) Go to the vehicle and login via pin code. (In case of PIN code, a unique one-use PIN should be SMS'd to the user) 5) Logging in will enable the ignition. 6) Track the use of that vehicle by the customer in terms of time. 8) The GPS system will be linked to a separate screen allowing the user to not just navigate to addresses and preloaded locations but act as the interface for the customer logging in/out. 7) Allow the user to logout when finished. 8) Automatically generate a bill for each user at the end of the month. Hardware: GPS/GSM/GPRS tracker System: - Vehicle tracking and upload live display on web based map (potentially Google) - Online Booking system that can be plugged into our website (potential for you to offer web development too) - Verification of customer login details - Tracking of user's vehicle use and automatic bill generation. This is a very basic specifications. We know basically what we want the system to do, but it's up to you to come back to us and say what's possible vs. easy vs. expensive etc. We need an identical copy of one the most important car sharing company (Car2go). So take a look on Android e iOS app and website before replying this offer. As you can likely tell we are not a technically savvy company, but we know what we need to do, and hopefully I have highlighted the requirements. We need a firm that can take our requirements, and provide a complete solution including development, programming, manufacture and sourcing of all relevant components. Based on your description we can provide fully working system + one device to be installed on a car (this is what is included in price). What we can propose at this moment is just our general vision of what you could get. As we wrote we are trying to be a partner - this means we could end up with something a little bit different - all that depend from our discussion. Our offer (at the moment): - web app application (written in ASP.NET + WebApi + Angular + Bootstrap) to be used on browser or mobile that will allow to "manage booking" and will be use to administrate the system - android app to "manage booking" - "car security system" that will be working on GSM card and will cooporate with online system to unlock/lock/monitor car (this is something to discuss as solution may vary and mostly depend from your budget) As for GPS/NAV unit - this is something that we would also need to discuss about. The easiest and cheapest solution is to somehow build in into the car a table run on android - thanks to this and android app you would get NAV and booking system at the same time and price. Hi there! Your post looks really appealing so far. We have plenty of apps with location features and we do hardware integration. The last one we developed using both hardware and software is Asthma Hero app (you can find by googling it - not really sure if we are allowed to share external links here). We used a BLE chip and connected it to a mobile app that track all user's actions and so on. We have also got a number of apps, which we developed for Taxi companies and car rentals.
