CSS changes to add navigation buttons

I wish to add three buttons to the navigation bar of my website. In adding a button to the nav bar previously the website has not appeared correctly in some browsers. The nav bar disappears altogether. I want to add three more buttons to the nav bar, and have the nav bar display correctly in all browsers. My coder believes this to be a relatively simple task for someone with good CSS knowledge. If you want any more information please ask.
