Design Holiday Letting Website

Hi, I need a website built, details as follows: This is a holiday home website, advertising several properties within one city for short term accommodation (I have examples of similar websites – almost identical to my needs). Some of these requirements might be negotiable depending on what is and isn’t possible however would be ideal if most of this was do-able. I would like the site to work like this: 1. Search facility on homepage (arrival date, number of nights, number of people and number of bedrooms required). Based on the information input, a list of available properties would be produced below which meet or exceed the user’s criteria, showing some basic information and main picture. (e.g. if someone wants 2+ bedrooms then every property with 2 or more bedrooms shows up, not just those with 2) 2. User clicks onto an available property to view detailed information with option to “Make Booking Enquiry” with appropriate date and number of guests information and box for additional message. 3. Messaging system in place so either property owner gets email with message or is able to click a link on email to view message on website and respond with a message and price. 4. Messaging can be back and forth as much as needed and price can be amended by owner. 5. User can click “Confirm Booking” and be taken to Paypal to pay a set % of the cost quoted. 6. When payment confirmed, email sent to website user with details of confirmed booking and to property owner of booking and guest details. Requirements (negotiable depending on what can and can’t be done!) 1. Messaging system built in so that I, as the website owner can view what messages have been sent between website users and property owners (and hopefully take part in conversations – not 100% required though). Messages cannot contain email addresses, phone numbers or website addresses. 2. Availability calendar attached to each property that I can amend – no need for property owners to be able to do this themselves unless this is very easy to add into website. 3. There will be a database of properties (only 4 to start) and I need to be able to easily add more, including pictures. 4. I need to be able to change the text of the website (contact details, T&Cs etc) so no protected pages/passwords to restrict this although improvements to site can be done and charged by the “freelancer”. 5. If possible, would be good if site was done using Wordpress but it’s fine if this isn’t possible. I have all text for each page needed ready to go but do not have a strict deadline for building the site so this is flexible. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have! Thanks, Lisa
