We have a rotating banner on our homepage above the folder that we need reduced, and put in an opt-in form to the right of the rotating banner.
So shrink a rotating banner so it does not take up so much space. To the right of the banner after the text create a engaging form to fill out to receive a whitepaper.
The Wordpress theme we are using is Infocus.
