Desktop application software

We collect information about charitable donors; essentially their name, who they gave to, when and how much. Most of the information we have captured came from .org or .edu websites on which the nonprofit or school posted a pdf document that contains a list of who gave. Example page 4 of [login to view URL] However, many sites have the information that we want in an html page or aspx spread across multiple pages in one url path. Example: [login to view URL] Example: [login to view URL] Example: [login to view URL] (info. is on multiple pages) At a minimum, program would take a url of a page and convert the html into a pdf and store it in a folder. A second level of function would be a program incorporate any pages with the same url into the same pdf. We would need the name the file based to reflect the source url or the program would need to create a key. At a minimum we would want a way to submit a list of urls in a batch and let it produce the pdfs unattended. An additional interface would be an option or browser plugin for a worker to initiate interactively; if they find themselves at a page with data we want, they would have some keyboard sequence like a screen capture to write out the page(s) out to a pdf. - It will be a desktop application - In crawler they will add many many urls for Donner list webpages - when you go to web pages one website may have many pages with Donner list. - we need to generate PDF for all pages and save in a auto created folder. Folder name will be site name - when we got pdf for all pages for one site- all those pdf will be combined to one pdf and saved in same folder - Site structure for all sites are not same - All pdf has to be searchable - Only adding urls is manual. all rest needs to be automated. We already have app that almost works. It is in VB (as a Microsoft word macro). The app will stop working when it comes across a site with css or a URL that contains a hyphen. Along with a text file with about 10 url's to crawl. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in doing. Also attached is a list of urls for testing.
