Hi, I have 10 years of industry experience ASP.net, C#, VB.net, SQL Server, Oracle and mySQL. Moreover, I have developed several application where barcode is read from scanner. These applications include POS and ERP applications. I can provide you an application developed in .net. We can implement all the possible rules in this application like if a student get a food packet then the card will be rejected automatically, if try to scan again in the same day. You can provide list of other check as well. --Can you please confirm which scanner you have? Please mention the scanner name and model. --Also confirm which database you want to use (SQL Server, Oracle or mySQL)? -- Do you want to have a web or a desktop application? Hello, I am software engineer from Serbia. I can help you create attendance system. I read your description and I think you will need more things. First you will need database when your student pay for for food you will add that amount to his profile. So next thing when you scan that card student have you will need to connect to database and see how much times he can eat until refill. And do you have breakfast, lunch and dinner separate or they can eat daily just once? Then you will need software where you can run statistics how much daily you have students to eat, etc... So price for this things above will be definitely bigger. I put examples like that just to show you that I already worked on system like this. This is just small introduction. It show live info of an employee on a screen when an employee punches attendance through machine.
