A client needs a custom point of sales software designed that will be in use across multiple sites. The backend system will be a MySQL database in a datacenter. There is the possibility of up to ten computers accessing the database concurrently so the software needs to allow for this (the database server will be sorted separately). The requirements are listed in the attached document. There is an existing program that can be used if an idea of how the GUI needs to look if required - note it is an old program and its expected the new program would have a more modern GUI. The OS the program will need to run on is Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Allow for worst case bandwidth to the database of 2000kbits down and 500kbits up (should be higher usually especially the download). Any questions please ask.
