analyze patterns of data in English phrases

I have 4 files like the one enclosed containing short English phrases; each phrase is 'tagged' or coded according to the word categories that it contains; i need a statistical analysis perhaps via python or similar indicating which patterns are the most frequent

just one example:

'a B.A. degree from' =at1+ nn1 + nn1+ ii

'a B.A. degree in' =at1+ nn1 + nn1+ ii

'a B.S. degree in' =at1+ np1 + nn1+ ii

These 3 phrases are all composed of Article+Noun+Noun+Preposition.

I need to count how many of this type of phrases exist+how many "sub-types" of this type of phrase

And how many OTHER types of phrase exist

My aim is to reduce to a maximum the META-TYPES of phrases
