Deep etch and light balance some images

We've got XX photos of people hands holding different objects that were taken outside in a park. we need the images deep etched out from their backgrounds so that only the hand and the objects are left. Additionally, any overly harsh shadows need to be dodged and burned back into a more neutral place. Finally a simple layer effect (a white drop shadow, an example will be provided) should be applied, cropped to the hand and should be saved to 50%
an example image is attached. (pink version supplied just so you can see the drop shadow)
There are 200 images, but all taken in a similar way
