Convert Perl database scripts to Python.

We are reviving an old Material Resource Planning (MRP) database and we would like the old Perl code converted to Python code. The perl code includes some mysql and javascript. Its main functionality is viewing and modifying a mysql database to keep track of resources. Code needs to be well commented, so we can modify it easily later. Use any open source libraries you can to simplify things. Look and feel can change, functionality is what is important. We will give you access to a virtual copy of our database which you can use to see the current functionality and test your code. The perl files are included below.
