This is a request to develop a custom skin for a VBulletin 3 installation. This includes tweaking the GUI for VBulletin to match the color scheme and look of the other graphics and materials for the site, and use supplied assets (stock photos and font info) to produce custom graphic headers, buttons, etc. for the look and feel of the VBulletin. You can look at the stock (unmodified) VBulletin installation at [login to view URL] We will supply the winning bidder with an admin login to the VBulletin installation. Here are some VBulletin customization notes that describe what's involved: What is a skin? A skin usually consists of an XML file and a directory of images to replace the default. The XML is imported by the vBulletin admin control panel to become a Style. This style controls the look and feel of your forums and even your entire site if you set it up to use the template system. How do I start to create a custom skin for my new forum? Open up your admin control panel. On the left, select Styles & Templates and then Style Manager. At the bottom of that page, you'll find a link to Add a Style. Once you're ready to go with your first new style, the main templates and CSS settings you'll edit are found by opening the Style Manager and then clicking GO next to the style name. On that page, you'll find the most important templates and options: - 'header' : the header file containing the top of the page and logo - 'headinclude' : additional javascript and CSS definitions - 'footer' : the footer of the site, holding the copyright, quick chooser, and bottom links - 'php_include' : helpful when adding php functionality and below those, the CSS options to control just about everything. That should get you started; good luck! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform VBulletin is written in PHP and templates are based on XML with CSS.
