The basic project is to provide a? display (a 13x13 grid with elements that change color) based on? several data elements from a commercial application using a Postgresql data base that is installed and running on a users computer.? Extensive use of selectable filters. There is an existing report that first needs to be replicated and then modified.
In addition to the postgresql data base, the display is also based on a user selected 1x169 array. A facility to add new 1x169 arrays/delete old arrays? and array names is also needed. This would generally be done by cloning an existing array, making some modifications, and saving/adding to the drop down menu. 3 undeletable arrays would be provided in the base program.
I know this is somewhat sketchy but I am not familiar enough with the design of postgresql add ons to fully understand their capabilities.
Some discussion/education will be needed for me to fully scope out the? project.
The commercial? application is Holdemmanager (HEM), ? found at [login to view URL] which has a forum that details the formulas to calculate the data elements quite clearly, although i dont know if a complete schema is provided. the functionality of this project would be similar to the Heads Up Display (HUD) that runs as part of HEM, whereby the user selects the database key (presumably player name) and a popup displays the grid, along with the result of a few ratios. Attached is a screen shot of the existing report.
