CSS and plugin issue need sorting on Joomla site

got a joomla site, had some work done but it left a plugin i have on my site altered. Not sure what happened but i have a plugin 'Ultimate Facebook Like Content Button', what the problem is now that what i see from my Pc which is windows 7 and i tested this in ie8 and firefox, the problem is the like button appears ON TOP of my sliding menu, so when i use menu on left column and it shows the submenus, the like button appears on top of the menu/links, please see attached image to see what i mean. It work on some browsers but problem seems ie browser Also i need some simple css done, in the left column i am adding amazon books/products which has 4 products in a table, just need it done it css not old html which is what i have been using, see attached , i have added 2 books in attached sample but i want 4. css is simple enough and 'like menu' is simple issue, compatiblity issue somewhere, so sensible bids please, problably other work in near future too thanks paul
