Business Directory API

Business Directory / Classifieds API This software is offered as a service. Our clients can tap into our API, and get access to our large business directory database. They can show our data on their websites. Front End This project would only need a front end for customers to enter/update their company info (unless you think this is better to incorporate in the API) Back End This is where the Admins would log in and manage site settings Manage all business listings/classified ads with full control Add new businesses Add new client accounts Change association from client accounts to businesses One client may own control of many businesses One client may own control of many classified ads Approval loop for classified ads Approval loop for business directory listings Download an XML or CSV version of classifieds or biz dir for integration into their system Manage costs of Biz Dir/Classifieds The way I see this is the capability to dynamically create packages. For instance the "bronze" package could be for $5/mo they get a website link and a map. For the "silver" package it could be $25/mo and they get the bronze package and images, more description and keywords. And so forth. Essentially, a client could sign up for the bronze package and could be charged $5/mo until they cancel. Then they could change the packages so bronze doesn't include the map anymore. If the package changes, the Admin would have the choice of maintaining the original package for those currently using it, or replacing that package with a new one. Do you have any ideas where this could go? Perhaps we need to sit down and explore this more.
