Build a Website

[login to view URL] This project is to build the more permanent website for the above URL. We need you to build a new website for us using an existing colour scheme and logo. The website is made of a user component where users visit the site, login and perform the tasks as outlined below, and the Admin area (also outlined below). The webpage should have the following pages available to users who are not logged in: - Home - Beat my price - Find me the best price - Login - Contact Us Home: -- The homepage should have some basic information about the services offered by this website but the information should remain generic. Graphics should be part of the project but the wording for the page will be provided by us. Beat my price: -- This page will go into great detail about what services we offer in providing the user with a better price on a product or service they have already obtained a quote on. Find me the best price: -- Again, the page will have information specific to this service and will require relevant images. Text content will be provided by us. Login / Sign Up: -- The login page itself should have the following signup options: - Sign up with email address (this will send the user a confirmation email to ensure they have access to this email address) - Signup via Facebook, twitter and google+ - Forgot my username / password Once the user is logged in: -- - Beat my price -- This page should now allow the logged in user to select two options, either PRODUCT or SERVICE, and then fill out a form that contains the fields relevant to the user’s option. PRODUCT: if the user selects the PRODUCT option, they should then be presented with the following fields: make* , model* , size, price* ( * fields are required) SERVICE: If the user selects the SERVICE option, they should then be presented with the following fields: provider*, details* The details field is simply a large text box that allows the user to provide details on the service required to receive the price beat by one of our staff. - Find me the best price — This is identical to the “beat my price” process except it will not ask for the price of the item on the PRODUCT page. - My quotes — This should be a new page which is only available to logged in users. It should list all the quotes that the user has requested and the information should be elegantly paginated with stylish and easy to use nav handles. — This page should list all the quotes being requested for the user. It should also show the status of the quote from either (pending, in progress, unpaid or paid). — If the quote status is ‘unpaid’, it should allow the user to click the ‘unpaid’ link to go through paypal to pay — Users should be able to use paypal to pay invoices here and once paid, the status should automatically update from “unpaid” to paid. Admin Section: - The admin section should not be linked from the main page - The admin section should allow the administrator user to manage the quotes and update the quote statuses - There should be a page to list and edit users - there should be a page here to provide an invoice to the user via paypal - the status should be unpaid when the paypal invoice is created Contact us: -- If the user is logged in, this page should simply provide the user with a form to complete which will send an email to the site admin. If the user is not logged in, this page should request the following: - Full Name - Email address - Text (question / comment) - Captcha (or better )
