credit card billing system/ atm transaction

I need an active x component developed in visual basic 6.0. 1. an active x which is to be used in our existing application for medical offices. the active x will take credit card/debit card information and forward the credit card information to the credit card processing centers (communication medium should be web (encrypted data using https) and phone/cable) and get response from the same display the response (approved or not). In detail We need to develop and interface which can send data to crdit card scanner( reader) and get some response when the credit card approved. Like we would like to send the amount to the device which scans and reads CC and get response whether it is approved or not. This is the only thing we need. Web part is not that important. we can think abt it later.
