Accurate Timing Intervals

Hi Guys, I am doing a multimedia application which requires precise timing intervals. I tried the Timer control (in VB) and also a While-Wend loop using Timer. I require you to give me an ActiveX control or source code of program that returns intervals accurately. Here I describe the problems I faced and also what minimum I expect you to do My Problems :- 1. For example, if the interval desired is 0.5 secs, the Timer event is raised in about .53 secs. 2. The interval is not consistent. It varies from .4999 to even .62 sometimes. Minimum requirements:- 1. The interval, though not same as that expected, must remain consistent at least for about 5 mins from the start of the program. ( i.e. In the above example even if the interval is not 0.5 secs, Say, its 0.57 secs, it must remain 0.57 secs only ) ## Deliverables Complete source code of all programming work done ## Deadline information ASAP
