This Accounting software tool should be ideal for all kinds of business activities which follow Indian standards and procedures of accounting and book-keeping. Hence bidders who are familiar with Indian standards shall be preferred to work on this project. I need an Accounting software as per Indian accounting standards & practices. It should be developed with MS-Visual Basic 6.0 as front end and MS-Access as back end. I wish to add that bidders can evaluate the popular Indian accounting software called as ACCORD for reference purpose of this project. ACCORD is available for evaluation purpose at [login to view URL] This Accounting software should have regular features like Cash Book, Bank Book, Ledger Accounts, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account Statement, Balance Sheet, Voucher entries, Account statements, etc. etc. Basically, entries should be only in the form of either "payment voucher" or "receipt voucher" and based on these entries all other ledger accounts and account groups should be updated. This software tool should allow multi-company accounting and also for multiple accounting years. I am looking for an Accounting software. An Inventory Management module in it would be an added benefit for me. Bidders may quote either for the comple tool of Accounting with Inventory module or only for the basic module for Accunting. Please mentione complete details in your bid. Also mention a brief case study for this project and a few form / screen layouts when you make the bids. This shall help me to decide on the right bidder. This project is to be completed on an urgent basis. Hence if you have worked on similar projetcs earlier, it would be benefitial for me. The software should be compatible with almost all versions of Microsoft Windows including 9x, NT, XP & 2000 versions. The source code should be duly and well commented.
