Create a simple bash or pearl script to process a text file

1 - Hit a url (via curl possibly) that will return as the unique text, the url of the file to download. In case there is no file to download it will return 0.

[<wbr />][1]2 - Download the file given in step #1 (if other than 0).

3 - Unzip file. File content will be a text file.

4 - Open the txt from zip in step #3 file and convert it to a csv file taking into consideration the format of the file. The file contents are FIXED WITH DELIMETED... you will need to convert into CSV. Make sure to escape any special characters and possible commas.

5 - Import the converted CSV file into the database using the following mysql statement

LOAD DATA INFILE '[url removed, login to view]' REPLACE INTO TABLE [url removed, login to view] FIELDS TERMINATED BY '|' ESCAPED BY '<em>\</em>';

....

The script must take into consideration user permissions when saving the zip file or writing the new files converted to CSV..

We are ok with a script either in bash or pearl as long as it runs on Ubuntu

Attachment contains the description and size of each field.
