Cricket club membership website

I have been asked to create a website for my local cricket club in Australia. I'm good with design, but need help with fuctionality the club committee is keen to have includes, such as online registration for members enabling members to update own contact details and access "online community", online payment of registration fees/tickets etc and membership database enabling club to automatically send emails to all registered? members. ## Deliverables These are the main functionality components needed for the site: 1) On-line registration for playing and non-playing members - Ability for club members to register each season via the website - "Member log-in" functionality (user name and password) - Enabling payment of registration fees online (see below) - Automatic subscription facility enabling club to send email correspondence to members (needs to generate a "Welcome to the club" activation email that requests confirmation and outlines that clicking the link will give consent to receiving email correspondence from the club) - Enabling members to join "online community" and contribute to forums 2) On-line payment of registration fees for playing members - Linked to the on-line registration of members - Ideally enabling members to elect to pay for registration and other items (such as event tickets etc) by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) or Credit Card - Would be good for this to have automated issuing of receipts once payment has been accepted 3) Membership Database - Linked to the on-line registration - Members able to update their contact details etc by logging in - Connected to automated mailing lists; possibly multiple mailing lists enabling members to opt-in/opt-out of all (news bulletins, newsletters, meeting minutes etc) except mandatory club correspondence [perhaps the only way to opt out of that should be to cancel registration?]
