Creative Project for advanced Php, MySQL, Ajax coders

First of all, I prefer bids under $1000. Please read carefully, I will ignore random bids that don't have PM's that explain your abilities to do the task involved, and your willingness to develop a test demo that will assure me that you will be able to do this project. Project Summary: This will be a social website that users visit to rank businesses comment on them, add new ones, etc. The website will allow users to compare the popularity of businesses, create a daily list (cron job) that will show the top businesses per category. Duration: I want phase 1 of development (The longest one) to be done within 30 days. Then I will start testing the site, and you will start phase 2 and phase 3. So, we should have all development done within 60 days. After that, another 30 days could be used for debugging and creating technical documentations. I want to launch this website on January 1st, 2008. Scope and Size: This is a medium sized project, I expect that we will have from 20 to 50 active pages (server side). Some of them will be really simple (such as register & reset password). Skills & Expertise: You really have to master PHP, Ajax, & MySQL to do this. This isn't for beginners, maybe intermediates can do it. The actual coding might not be complicated, I won't ask you to do things that are undo able, actually most of what's involved have been done before, its just the connectivity between the different components of the project that require experience. My style of work and compensation: I have lots of experience in web development & databases, I will be hear to help you. I will give you freedom to be creative, so I am not super strict. In fact I will value your input. I will create professional and logical functional specifications for you before you even start, so you will get a really solid understanding before you start. We will split the project into phases, and I will escrow and release payments depending on progress. If I am really satisfied, I will give you a bonus at the end of this project. Things you should be able to do: - Design a web 2.0 interface look and feel that is ajax enabled as much as possible. I love the design of [login to view URL], its simple but powerful, I want this site to look like it. - Track IP of users & visitors so that they can't do certain activities twice. - Have user privileges that can be changed by admin (Admin, Manager, Editor, User) - The website should have a Search Engine that could recognize Arabic Language, and also suggest corrections for misspells. - Users can get a small html code for their business profile and take and paste it in their websites or blogs so it can link to and reflect their business ranking. - Allow visitors to leave comments on profiles. - This website has to do with ranking a certain business. So you should be able to setup a cron job (or another alternative) that will run every night (or maybe week) to order accounts by a field, and this will be used to update the ranking of the accounts, instead of doing it every time the page is refreshed.
