CURRENT SITE: [login to view URL] This website was done by a college student using tables and Flash back in 2009. The owner now wants it updated into table-less HTML5 and CSS3 without any Flash (none). The Flash menus should instead be easily-editable JQuery sliders or something very similar. It will have/need a PHP contact form. The current site will have a lot of text and feature image changes for the updated version. >> VERY IMPORTANT FEATURES: 1. It MUST have //clean and simple// HTML5 markup. 2. The rotated images need to be rotated with CSS, so that the images can be easily replaced. 3. It MUST be coded with a non-technical client in mind, as he will be managing changes through a CMS. Business is bad for him right now, so his budget is tight. I'm not looking for a miracle worker, but I am trying to get him the best-quality "bang" for his buck.

Currently I am a fulltime web developer for one of the top 10 retail sites on the internet. I have worked on a range of projects ranging from large scale templating soltions, maintaining current UI, and creating simple 5 page hard coded sites. I can also provide links to other sites that I have worked on. I mainly work with Javascript, HTMl, CSS, and PHP. On a personal note I don't beleive in table based site layouts are the devil, jQuery made flash sites obsolete and degradable JavaScript is a must. May I ask about the CMS being used to update the site? What is the expected result for the rotated images in older browsers? Also I am not seeing a footer would your client like one? Is there going to be a mobile layout for this project as well? I look forward to creating a solution for you.
