Code modification for completing set-up of a catalogue extension

My website is in form of a sort of catalogue. I am in the process of moving it from static html to Joomla. I have installed an extension working on databases designed to display catalogues, and the programmer has set most of the work. But as my main layouts are not standard, more complex, and some modifications are required, he has no time to make them. However, he is willing to support the programmer in the completing of the set up of his modified extension. Databases have been created and over a 1000 items imported. Individual items were designed and the whole project has already been taking many months, due to work overload of the programmer. The work can be done within a week, so I will frame it in two weeks, allowing for the understanding of the system and the requirements; tweaking - another week or two at most. There is a potential for further projects with the same database, or other scripts required on same website. *It must be noted about the timetable that I move house in the 1st weekend of August and there may be a couple of days I am unavailable online. ## Deliverables My website is an "encyclopaedia" of specific period of art, being moved to Joomla (K2). The main use of the extension is about the way the Artist's pages and individual works are displayed and accessed by visitors (main goal of the site). It is structured in the following manner: - Movements (Groupings) of artists as separate menu items, the page - an item telling about the specific movement; and under each - pages of the artists belonging and displayed in this Movement (one artist may belong to several, and have several pages, with works belonging to specific periods); - Artist page includes works with various information about the works, grouped one under the other with thumbnails by Work Type (painting/graphic art/design...) (info in Works table), biography (separate item), recommended books (separate item), bibliography (bibliography table) and information about the artist (Artist table). This layout is not standard and is what the project is mainly about. The page must be accessible for Registered users; the Work types and other separate items are to be displayed in separate tabs, like other pages not requiring catalogue on the website. - Individual Work page - made by programmer, where the user lands by clicking on thumbnail. This must be restricted for Paid users - it is to be added, not yet done. - Pages for simple lists of things to be made from the databases: lists of members of a certain movement with links to pages, separated into tabs according to Movement; list of artists on website, with links to pages; list of bibliography, separated into tabs according to type of books... After the Artist page layout is done these will not require further specific modifications, and can use same scripts - or just use a simple php script using same databases in the K2 structure. The extension programmer is willing to support and advise the worker making the modifications regarding the logic of his extension. There is potential for adding other scripts using the same databases
