Hi,
I am looking forward to create an « add manager » website where customers can browse thru adds classified by categories (Real Estate, Cars, Pets, Electronics,...).
There will be two different type of users:
o Individual account, Users can post:
o Their adds per category with price and information
o Limited in the amount of pictures per add
o Limited in amount of add per month
o Can subscribe to premium package to boost their add
o Professional account (only for certain categories of adds):
o Basically same as Individual account but with fee entrance and less limitation
o There will be a tab where users can search for professionals and get the list of their adds. (individual account does not have that space)
o Each add posted by a professional will have a link to his profile.
The add manager part is quit basic and simple (see [login to view URL]) the main part of the project is more on the “premium packages”.
Packages:
o Users can pay to be able to post more pictures to an add.
o Users can pay to upload a video.
o Users can pay so that his add is display at the top of the list (display in a certain date/time range set by the admin in the backend)
o Users can pay to have the “URGENT” tag, which helps them to be more visible (for a certain date/time range)
o Users is able to pay per add if limitation is reached.
o …
User can subscribe for a pack for multiple adds in one operation.
Admin have the possibility to customize packages. Also customize for a specific user account.
All of these “packages” can be configured in backend. Price of packages goes by category.
Technology:
I am more of a Joomla fan, so that will be my first choice for the project but feel free to propose any better tool. I have seen clones of ad manager (AdsManager for Joomla) modules online for most CMS, so I guess that part could easily be reused. My attention is mostly on the “package” management; please propose some scenarios on how it works and how it could be managed in a backend.
Profil I am looking for:
I am looking for a motivated developer to accompany me on this project with technical skills but also design.
The candidate should be able to provide documentation to what will be implemented and also provide training sessions.
A reactive person is also a must for the job. Communication will be done thru Skype and Emails.
