We are developing a web site for a new home subdivision. The client will be using [Solideo CMS][1] for content management, and needs two CMS-compatible, high-quality CSS templates designed. This will be a two-tier site, with one design for the main page, and a related but distinct design for all second-tier pages.
Interested bidders can [set up a fully-functional demo][2] of Solideo CMS on our server in order to test the system. Once the demo is set up and you've logged in to the CMS (login info will be given to you in the process of setting up the demo) you will be taken to the CMS control panel.
There are three sections to the control panel; the Design Management section is the one that will be of interest to designers, and a description of the functionality is provided in the attached file. It will also be helpful for designers to familiarize themselves somewhat with the Content Management section, so a brief description of what's available here is provided as well.
Design and content can both be handled separately within the CMS. The CMS allows designers to very easily export template design information in the form of an external skin file, so it can be imported into an installation of the CMS on another server. In the case of this bid, the deliverable will need to be in the form of one skin file for each of the two templates designed (two skin files total), along with any necessary graphics.
The attached file also includes artwork that demonstrates the look and feel the client is looking for in the site. These graphics are simply a sampling, and are by no means exhaustive. It would be nice to see some theme-consistent photography integrated also, if it can be done tastefully.
