Our mission has supported micro-credit ventures in Asia for the unemployed, poor entrepreneurs and others living in poverty who lack the credit-history to go to conventional banks. As you can see, many of the loans are repaid, so that they can be disbursed again for new ventures. ## Deliverables We are currently confronted with fundraising problems. As we are only able to have a fundraiser every so often, we go through lull periods when our fundraising is practically non-existent. We would like to make a substantial change to our fundraising stream in order to stabilize it. We have envisioned an online auctioning community, a website that enables buyers and sellers to connect for charity. We need to create a seller interface that allows would-be sellers to load details for the product (photos, descriptions, etc.). We also then need a simple buyer?&#8364;&#8482;s interface that organizes the products by genres (such as art, furniture, etc). Finally, we need to have the auctioning mechanism built into the website to run the auctions, and send live feeds via emails to interested buyers (much like ebay). We hope to cultivate social awareness for poverty in countries like Cambodia, India, and the Philippines by having sellers donate unneeded products to charity via our website, and by having buyers buy from the website, knowing their money will flow to a charitable cause. Perhaps later, perhaps we can enhance accountability and emotional engagement by building a way to track the funds, much like on Asian Initiatives.
