Access DB Project

The database will be used to maintain and search lab test data. The database will be provide three primary functions: the INPUT of data, SEARCHING of data, and OUTPUT of search results. A total of four screens will be created for this database. The first “Master Screen?? will allow the user to select whether they wish to input new data into the system, search existing data, or print a report (of searched data or other standard report). **_INPUT SCREEN:_** Data will be entered into the system through one input screen. **_SEARCH CRITERIA:_** Data will be searchable using any of the criteria listed in the “Input?? section above. Date range should not be required to conduct a search. Text must be searchable in description, key words, and part number sections. Searches using * as wildcard are needed. For example, if the user enters F1* as the search criteria the program would return items like F1, F1234, F1abcd, F1-00b, etc… **_OUTPUT:_** Output from the system will be composed of 2 items: 1. Viewable and printable search results 2. Viewable and printable summary report listing all tests in the database ordered by decreasing test number (newest tests shown first). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
