I have experience in ecommerce applications processing orders via APIs or by uploading them as XMLs on various product distributor servers. I assume that's why you need this. I can do it in C# for you, either as web or desktop application. I've looked over the MWS API and it's pretty simple. This won't take long. Payment after I've delivered everything and you are happy with it. That's my way to guarantee European quality standards (you may be familiar with the low asian quality)

If you decide to use PHP, then you could use PHP NuSOAP for consuming its web service programmatically, then the output (in XML) could be parsed in easy for storing to the database. And for transmitting to remote FTP directory you could use curl. For the MWS part, I already have the SOAP-based wrapper, so I will just need to add the storing database and remote FTP transmit feature. Amazon Web Service (in this case Merketplace Web Service) has confusing documentation, but my wrapper is able to handle that.

Hi, We already developed exactly same application for downloading orders from amazon site & storing it in DB for one of our client in US using c#.

No problems downloading data using MWS, I can build a c# or C++ program that download your orders and place them in a db or in a file, or the program may directly format them in xml and ftp (or eMail them to you)
