I'm looking for C/C++ or Java Programmer with strong skills in Server-Plugin development or controlling Live-Streams (Italien, French, GB, Spain and US-Contacts preferred). My current project has a volume of 6.000 Euro, to develop a server-plugin wich is able to add Audio-Datas to a Live-Stream, at a pre-defined Date/Time. The Server-Plugin should be able to: - stop/lock a current Live-Stream - to download Data (Overnight) from an Add-Server (Audio, for first), - to link these Data to the Live-Stream, at a predefined Date/Time - to start/unlock the Live-Stream again. - to send a daily log-file back to the Add-Server (Add-Server API exists) The description of an existing plugin/product can be found here (Google translation German to English): [login to view URL]://[login to view URL] The first Prototype should be build for Linux or Windows, with eclipse for example. The Language can be C/C++ or Java, but Java is maybe to slow to control an (Audio) Live- Stream, but maybe enough for a running Proto- type. The preferred streaming server are Icecast 2, Icecast 1 and Shoutcast, where the Plugin should run for first. A short description about the supported server can be found here: [login to view URL] setup-doc: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] setup-doc: [login to view URL] Schedule: Start 5nd May 2007, until the 7th of June 2007 (max. is 10th of June) Payment: 50 Percent at beginning of the Project. Regards, Andrew Gee Berlin, Germany
## Deliverables
To be trustable, the payment will be done by Paypal-Services. The first 50 percent (3.000) Euro will be payed over the first 15 Days (1.000 Euro for each Week) There will be a pre-defined deliveral/milestone at the End of each Week. The final Result should be: A Java-Application or a compiled C++ Application with a simple GUI, to show the Basic funtionality. The Application should run 'stable' under Windows- and Linux-Server. The Process to add Data to the LiveStream should not use more than 37 Percent of the System Performance. The Idle-Status should not use more than 15 Percent. The software must run 240 hours without slowing down the local server or decreasing constantly the amount of availiable system-memory. Please use our contact-information to ask for more explicit details about the project-collaboration and payment-process. Open-Source is not a problem for our business-concept!
## Platform
Linux (Debian 5.1, for Example) Windows (Windows 200x Server or Windows Media Center)
