CASINO GAME CODERS REQUIRED

Games Workshop UK are looking to recruit experienced freelance game coders or coding groups to develop games for our touch screen machines. You should have experience in games industry and maybe already developed casino games such as roulette and blackjack. Touch screen machines are located in many places throughout the world but are more common in the UK and US. They are simply a Windows based PC with hardware such as coin acceptors connected through a I/O card. You are not required to have any specialist hardware as we will provide a DLL and documentation which will emulate the machines responses so you can concentrate on the game code. You will be required to show examples of previous work to ensure it is acceptable. We also require you to submit frequent reports via RAC and be available on IM such as Yahoo or MSN while you are working for us as communication is key. If you think you have what it takes to join us then let us know ASAP... if you are accepted, then projects will be posted on RAC for you to complete. **GAMES MUST BE DEVELOPED IN EITHER C, C++, DELPHI OR SIMILAR LANGUAGE (EXCEPT .NET) AS YOU NEED TO USE DLL FILES. GAMES CREATED IN FLASH CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS REASON. THE GAMES MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH WIN 95 AS THIS IS USED IN SOME OLDER MACHINES. YOU MAY USE DIRECTX BUT ONLY UP TO VERSION 8.0a BUT NOT OPENGL.** ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
