The project is to create a small program that will play AVI files. The program will determine the resolution of the AVI and play it full screen. The resolution possibilities will be 800x600 and 1024x768. The program will get the file-to-play info from a text file that contains a list of AVIs. The program must run from the Windows startup folder and run totally unattended. It should have basic error handling. The program should use the Divx codecs and be backward compatible. We currently have a library of Divx 3.2 AVIs that we want to play but would like to use the newer codecs as well for newer AVIs. The program must be optimized for performance, it should not use more than 30% of the system's resources on an 800MHZ processor. The AVIs must run without jitter, skipping, etc. Transition from AVI to AVI should be almost seemless. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). ## Platform We are on the Win 2000 and XP platforms.
