I am looking to have a web application to be developed. The web app must be able to run as a stand alone directory (with appropriate rights) on an IIS Server. I am wanting the solution to be written in ASP utilising an XML data store that resides within the same directory structure.

The solution is basically a simple data input solution that will provide the ability to enter information on differing data entities (13 data types) and link associtiations between some of the items. The ability to capture and correlate information for output as various reports or into excel is the key purpose of the application.

The web application should be fairly simple with user authentication (users should be selectable from an AD or manually entered against roles, role based access will dictate level of read and write capabilities, simple data input (that reads and writes back to the xml files), data linking and report generation. The finalised application should self install into a IIS server (applying appropriate rights etc). The data store should be exportable for backup and upload purposes. The solution should also enable audit logging to provide a trace of updated data items with usernames and timestamps.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

The platform will be standard Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 IIS with .Net Framework installed. The standard target browser for use will be Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. User will be either part of the same Domain or from differing Domains than that of the Web Server.
