ABC Notation to MIDI Conversion - C#.NET

A software that would convert an ABC Notation (which is a music notation) file into a MIDI file. 1) UI to Input an ABC file. 2) UI to select instrument, Piano or Guitar. 3) UI to select output destination for MIDI file. 4) Start process of conversion, if input ABC in correct format then do the conversion in a separate thread so that the UI is not halted and show a progress bar. 5) If ABC Notation is not in correct format then display an error message stating that the notation is not in correct format. 6) Thats it! The program should be written purely in C# .NET in VS2008. No 3rd party components or libraries should be used. There are already some Open Source software that do the conversion, but these can only be used as reference/help and should NOT be used in any way in this project.
