Crystal Reports Database Connection

I have a very SIMPLE need for someone to help me connect to a database using Crystal Reports. This is very small, using two tables which are already connected and linked, but I am having difficulty getting the fields on to the report and to set up one parameter. This must be completed by remotely accessing my PC with a temporary access given. This is only about the database working, the design will be done separately. I need this to be done in the next 5 days.
