Basic idea is to have a variant_id and a value_id. Well, i think that you can separate them into several tables and let the SQL does the cross product or in other words gets the total combination instead of you doing that :) and i have the schema if you want to see it :) Thanks in advance :)

i have looked thoroughly your requirement.... & i m sure i Can create the exact table Matching your Requirement,, and I can also Create a Trigger that will automatically insert values into your "Final Required Table" (which is having "combination[SKU]" column),,, Means when one insert values into "products_variants" table, it will automatically insert the record accordingly into your "Final Required Table" which contain 'combination' column .....
