This project is DWH project which comprised of DWH concept,Informatica as ETL tool and Cognos & Qlikview as reporting tool. Hello, I have a lot of experience in Access, vba, sql... In the last years I am mainly implementing ERP and programing business logic. The task can not be done without vba and input from form. Primary key may be constructed in such a way that wil restrict input of duplicate records. How application would check for similar records is more challenging. I would create setup table to give you flexibility in which fields and how many first characters are compared for finding similar records. Such a functionality is often used when entering contacts and leads. When entering new record form for comparison would open if similar records are found. Best Regards Matija
